Improving students reading skill using “After Effect” software [‘அஃதெர் எபெக்ட்’ மென்பொருளின் வழி மாணவர்களின் வாசிப்புத் திறனை மேம்படுத்துதல்]

Reading skill is a one of the basic skill among listening, speaking, reading and writing inlearning. We should use the different new method to improve students reading skills. Based fromthis statement researcher used “After Effect” software to improve students reading skills. “AfterEffect” software is that used in a computer. It will display words, sentences and paragraph oneby one according capability of students. This research was carried out in a secondary school thatlocated in Malacca. Twenty (20) students from Form one (1) were involved in this research. Thedata for the research was collected according to the performances of the students in reading onthe pre-test and post- test. After the pre-test, 15 students were selected as sample for thisresearch. The selected students reading skill was improved using “After Effect” software. Thefindings of this research revealed that the “After Effect” software technique has positive effectson students reading level. Furthermore, this research also prevails that, students more interestnew techniques in their teaching and learning process. This research proved that using “AfterEffect” software in reading improving the students reading skill.
