Abstract

Kajian ini meneliti keberkesanan penggunaan teknologi maklumat dan komunikasi (ICT) sebagai salah satu wahana Penilaian Formatif dalam pengajaran dan pembelajaran tatabahasa Bahasa Melayu (BM). Kajian ini fokus meneliti tahap pemahaman dan penguasaan murid terhadap pelajaran Imbuhan Awalan peN- melalui penggunaan aplikasi Nearpod. Subjek yang terlibat dalam kajian ini merupakan 26 orang murid Darjah 4 yang berada pada aras kebolehan dan melebihi aras kebolehan. Melalui aplikasi Nearpod, guru boleh memantau dan menilai pemahaman murid berkaitan pelajaran. Guru dapat mengesan kelemahan atau kekuatan setiap murid secara langsung apabila jawapan mereka terpancar pada skrin projektor. Penilaian rakan sebaya juga digunakan dalam pelajaran ini. Melalui pemerhatian guru, aplikasi Nearpod ini berjaya digunakan sebagai salah satu alat penilaian formatif secara digital. Dapatan kajian menunjukkan 90% murid dapat memahami penggunaan Imbuhan peN- dengan jelas. Aplikasi ini juga dapat menarik minat semua murid mempelajari bahasa Melayu dalam suasana yang menyeronokkan.

[This study examines the effectiveness of Information and Communication Technology (ICT) as one of the Formative Assessment tools in the teaching and learning of Malay Language grammar. This study focuses on the level of understanding and understanding of pupils on the lessons learned through the application of Nearpod. The subject involved in this study were 26 students of Primary 4. They are from middle and high progress students. Through Nearpod Application, teachers can monitor and evaluate students' learning-related lessons. Teachers are able to give immediate feedback as students’ responses will be flashed on the projector screen. Peer assessments are also used in this lesson. Through teacher observation, the Nearpod Application was successfully used as one of the Formative Assessment tools. The findings show that 90% of students are able to understand the use of prefix peN- clearly. This application can also arouse students’ interest to learn Malay in a fun environment.]
